Grace Chapter Committees

 

  • ADMINSTRATIVE COMMITTEE: To assist the Worthy Matron, Treasurer and Secretary with administrative duties when needed.

  • Audit Committee - To review the Secretary's and Treasurer's records every 6 months and provide a written report to the Chapter.

  • Committee Outreach - Plan and coordinate activities to assist charitable organizations in the community and within the Chapter.

  • Chapter of Sorrow - Ceremony in memory of deceased members. (To be conducted annually)

    • By-Laws - Write and review Chapter by-laws and make recommendations in accordance to the guidelines established by the Grand Chapter.

    • Hospitality - Plan and coordinate repasts for the Chapter and welcome visitors to the Chapter.

  • Banquet/Ways and Means - To honor Past Matron/Past Patron for the previous year.

  • Investigation - Conduct interviews of potential candidates for membership into the Order.

  • Sick and Distressed - Contact members of the Chapter and provide a report to the Chapter.  Inform the Chapter of sick and distressed members.  Call, purchase, send cards and flowers.  Also, perform acts of kindness to those in need.

  • Scholarship - To establish criteria and guidelines for scholarships to be given on behalf of the Chapter.

  • Telecommunications (Phone Tree) - To place calls to members  relaying pertinent information from the Chapter.

  • Ways and Means - Plan and coordinate fundraisers for the Chapter.
